I cannot express how much I love and miss the food carts in Portland. The last time I visited was in June, and this video makes me want to go back already. I need some Tito’s Burritos and Nong’s Khao Man Gai pronto.
I was in a parade on Sunday. This is what happened at the end of the parade route when some of the guys decided they wanted to play some more, so we all did, and then dancers from other contingents started flocking around. This was the first year in SF Carnaval that all of the Bolivian contingents went together in one continuous block.
This is my friend Nate. He used to live here, but moved to Berlin a few months ago. I’m amazed that his video got over 100,000 views in 2 months, but then again he has a background as a professional comedian.
Just practicing at home. ”Subida” by Ernesto Cavour. I had the privilege of meeting him when I was in Bolivia in January.
Fucking amazing.
If you don’t know, this is the original video. Yep, somebody actually thought it was a good idea to spend money on producing that steaming heap.
i’m working on these new coping mechanisms for when i receive hater comments. i think it’s helping.
